What is Kiln?
Kiln is a staking platform that enables users to secure the Ethereum network and earn rewards. This platform provides a direct staking solution via API, allowing custodians, exchanges, and crypto wallets to offer staking services to their customers.
Kiln’s Products
Kiln offers six types of products:
- Dashboard
- On-chain
- Connect
- Validator
- DeFi
- dApp
Dashboard
The Kiln Dashboard allows users to stake with just one click, track rewards, and manage group and organizational accounts.
On-chain
Kiln On-Chain serves three main groups:
Integrator: Crypto wallets or exchanges that want to create staking solutions for their users. This solution can include Solo Staking with a single Operator or issuing their own Liquid Staking Token with two Operators.
Operator: Ethereum validators looking to integrate their validation infrastructure through smart contracts, enabling them to offer staking services such as Pooled (stake any amount of ETH) or Dedicated Staking (stake ETH in multiples of 32) and accept deposits from various Integrators.
Staker: ETH holders who want to participate in staking on the Ethereum protocol. They can choose between Pooled or Dedicated Staking solutions. Throughout the staking process, they retain control over their assets, ensuring a completely transparent and auditable cash flow.
Kiln On-Chain provides a set of smart contracts designed to allow Integrators to cater to various use cases such as Native Staking and Pooled Staking. Currently, there are four distinct options:
- Dedicated Validator: Allows Integrators to offer ETH staking services in multiples of 32.
- Validator NFT: Similar to the Dedicated Validator but has the capability to create NFTs representing ownership and withdrawal information of the Validator.
- Kiln Staking Pool: Enables Integrators to offer staking services for any amount of ETH without issuing a Liquid Staking Token.
- Kiln Liquid Staking Pool: Similar to the Kiln Staking Pool but with the capability to issue Liquid Staking Tokens representing withdrawal information and ownership of the user’s staked ETH.
Connect
Kiln Connect provides a unified interface for creating, signing, and sending transactions for all supported protocols. This allows projects to focus on enhancing user experience without having to handle the specific issues of each protocol. Kiln Connect also enables users to retrieve staking reward data across all validators (not just Kiln validators) without needing to operate their own infrastructure.
Validators
In addition to the aforementioned products, Kiln also offers Validator operation services on 31 different blockchain networks, including: Aptos, Avalanche, Celestia, DyDx, Ethereum, Injective, Near, Polygon, Sui, and more.
DeFi
Kiln DeFi is an EVM smart contract product that can be deployed on DeFi protocols to aggregate user positions and distribute management fees to the platform integrating it. Integrators can deploy a vault on any yield-generating strategy. Currently, all assets used in lending platforms like Aave, Compound, and Morpho are supported, and Integrators can choose to deploy on multiple platforms to offer various strategies to their users.
dApp
Kiln dApp is a decentralized application that allows users to stake their ETH with dedicated Validators and participate in the EigenLayer Restaking feature.
